Falmouth Surf Lifesaving Club is a small, volunteer-run club based at Maenporth Beach near Falmouth. The club’s primary aim is to help local children and adults learn about water skills, beach safety, and to promote a community focused ethos.

Falmouth SLSC is a registered charity and is affiliated to Surf Life Saving GB.

About Us
Falmouth Surf Lifesaving Club is a community based club with the following main goals:​​​

Promoting water safety and developing lifesaving skills​

Establishing an active lifestyle for its members by way of surf life saving training and associated sport as well as providing an outlet for young people to participate in water sports associated with Surf Lifesaving​

Fostering and developing leadership skills in young people​

Providing the opportunity and training facilities for members wishing to obtain recognised SLSGB competitions and qualifications

We endeavour to maintain low costs and fees to ensure surf lifesaving is accessible to all and members are able to utilise the well stocked clubhouse.

The club is run on a purely voluntary basis and members are encouraged to work towards qualifications and to contribute something back to the club whether it is involvement in coaching, assisting in maintenance and repair, fundraising or volunteering any specialist skills you may have to offer.

Challenging our older children through fun, adventure, and knowledge sharing.
